About Fruit & Veg for Schools
As part of the Stronger Starts initiative, Tesco Fruit & Veg for Schools is improving children’s access to healthy and nutritious food during the school day, targeting schools across the UK where there is the greatest need for additional support to help kids thrive.
About Tesco Stronger Starts
Stronger Starts launched in in 2023, in partnership with community charity, Groundwork. This £8m grant programme helps schools, children’s groups and wider community projects provide nutritious food and healthy activities that support young people’s physical health and mental wellbeing, such as breakfast clubs or snacks, and equipment for healthy activities. Tesco Fruit & Veg for Schools is an extra £4 million funding to amplify the Stronger Starts scheme and make even more impact for our nation’s young people.
